Smoke on the Water
The crown jewel of RiverLights may just be one of my favorite restaurants. Check when sunset is scheduled for tonight and then make a reservation for an outdoor table at Smoke on the Water with the timing just right to catch the light show in the sky.
This is truly one of the best restaurant views in town. Chow down on a classic Southern shrimp boil, sip a craft cocktail or cold beer and listen to live music. This will have you scrolling through RiverLights real estate listings pretty quickly!
Cafe Chinois
Indochine lovers across Wilmington rejoiced at the announcement of Cafe Chinois. The owners of the iconic local restaurant opened this cafe specializing in French-inspired Asian cuisine. A boutique dining area has all the flair and pomp of Indochine with an exciting menu. Check out the amazing menu here.
RiverLights Bike Path
Grab a bike cruiser and head for the RiverLights bike path. You can completely slip away from the bustle of urban biking and ride around shaded trails along the river. If there was ever a bike path that made you exhale and say, “Gosh, I love living here,” this would definitely be it.
Club Pilates
I had to include Club Pilates as one of my favorite places in this part of town. There are two locations in town — one in Mayfaire Town Center and The Pointe at Barclay. Sign up for pilates classes at all levels and workout inside in the air-conditioned space — yes, thank you.
Southern Shores Craft Beer & Wine
This local bottle shop is the perfect place to go sip and sample some of the best the region has to offer and beyond. You can really get a feel for the local beer scene and discover new favorites at Southern Shores Craft Beer & Wine.
