When the City of Wilmington had funds for a new public downtown space, the community spoke up and city officials listened. Residents wanted a place for more live entertainment, gorgeous river views, and places to walk and play. And those requests are finally in. The park has green space, boardwalks, fountain walks, river views, and the star of the show — an amphitheater with space for 7,200 ticket-holders.
Riverfront Park is finally ready for its debut and after a year of Covid-19 restrictions, Wilmington is ready too.
