Manna

Celebrities seem to flock to manna while filming or vacationing in town. This laid back fine dining experience is one of the priciest in Wilmington and sits atop a basement wine cellar with a menagerie of bottles. Manna has seen many celebrities over the year from Emeril Lagasse to Jennifer Anniston. 

The Fortunate Glass

This downtown wine bar has seen famous faces like Rusell Crowe and many more. It is a great spot to grab a glass of red or white and watch people in Downtown Wilmington. 

Port Land Grille

Jennifer Anniston had her own special table at a local restaurant in 2012 while filming We’re The Millers. Anniston frequented the Lumina Station gem Port Land Grille where they always had a table waiting in a more private area of the restaurant. Katie Holmes touted this spot as a favorite during filming for Dawson’s Creek, as did Joshua Jackson, Vanessa Redgrave, Sandra Bullock, Steve Buscemi, and James Van Der Beek.

Catch Restaurant

Gwyneth Paltrow loved Catch Restaurant so much while filming Iron Man 3, she asked James Beard-nominated Chef Keith Rhodes for cooking lessons while here. Catch has seen many stars over the years from Robert Downey Jr. to Rachelle LeFevre and Melissa McCarthy. McCarthy enjoyed Catch The Food Truck so much, she requested the truck be on set for her next project in Atlanta. 

Bloke

This downtown gentleman clothier has seen celebrities stop by. Russell Crowe popped in to buy some shirts in 2019 while filming psychological thriller, The Georgetown Project. 

Lumina Station

Lumina Station is a favorite for celebrities because the laid back shopping atmosphere combined with high-end items. Robert Downey Jr. stepped into Gentleman’s Corner to buy some sunglasses and other celebrities have come by for clothes and accessories. 

Dramyard and Arrive Wilmington

Award winning actress Jessica Chastain sat in the courtyard of Arrive Wilmington after a meal at Dramyard and thanked her supporters on Instagram after winning a Critic’s Choice Award in 2022. She was also spotted at SeaLevel City Gourmet, a vegan diner, with her George and Tammy co-stars.
