Your Guide to Exploring the Best of Ogden, Porters Neck

We share the very best Ogden and Porters Neck have to offer with recommendations on dining, drinking, shopping and more.

The Porters Neck community in Wilmington, North Carolina is a haven for retirees and young families alike. This tiny but luxury bedroom community that mostly exists along one road (Porters Neck Road) has quick access to restaurants, grocery stores, and the private Figure Eight Island. Find two golf courses here including Porters Neck Country Club and the invite-only Eagle Point where celebrities and athletes like Michael Jordan have exclusive memberships.

Ogden is more densely populated with many neighborhoods strung together to form one giant community. Homes range from smaller townhomes to larger and pricier homes in the $400,000 range. With so many families living, working, and playing in one area, there is a strong sense of community.
